Uncle Bill was married to my Aunty Thelma my Mum's Sister (Olive Penny) and he gave me my first ever paid job as a paper girl when he worked in Riddicks Newsagents at the bottom of Union St Melksham and he also introduced me to my love of Speedway when we took to see Swindon Robins! We were cousins- your dad and mine brothers. We didn’t keep in touch really as my life took me away from Melksham, I visited upon my return. My memories go way back when we were young and would cycle to grandads in Gastard or Auntie Lou’s in Lacock with Pat and our dads. Happy times, sleep well now. I hope you are back with Thelma.
